I am a Tewahedo Orthodox girl and my faith is not shaped by culture, public opinion, or the changing values of this world—it is rooted in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in the timeless truth of our beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox Church.
Your opinions, your feelings, and what the world supports mean absolutely nothing to me if they lead me away from God’s truth.
If it defiles God’s commandments,
if it dishonors our Lord or shows disrespect toward our Blessed Mother, Saint Mary,
if it goes against what is written in the Holy Scriptures, then I cannot embrace it simply to gain the approval of people.

I will not conform to the ways of this world when they contradict my faith. I will not abandon my beliefs to be accepted. I will not apologize for standing firm on the Word of God, because my life belongs to Christ, and my greatest desire is to honor Him.

I will encourage you to seek our Lord and walk in His ways. But I will never compromise God’s truth, ignore His commandments, or walk away from the path that leads to Him.
My faith calls me to speak the truth with love, to walk humbly before God, and to live a life that glorifies Him in all I do. Because in the end, it is not the approval of people that awaits me—it is the righteous judgment of God.
