My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, we live in a world that has slowly conditioned us to believe that God is distant, limited, or unnecessary. Surrounded by distractions, uncertainty, and the pursuit of temporary things, it’s easy to lose sight of who God truly is.
We often place our confidence in money, education, careers, science, political leaders, or our own abilities. While these things may have value, they can never take the place of God. Too often, we begin to measure God’s power by what we can see, understand, or explain. Without realizing it, we put Him in a box.
But the God who created the heavens and the earth cannot be confined by human understanding.
He is all-powerful. He is sovereign. He is faithful. There is nothing beyond His reach and nothing too difficult for Him. No mountain is too high, no burden too heavy, no heart too broken, and no situation too impossible for Him to change.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the greatest display of God’s love and power. He willingly came into this world to save us, bore our sins on the Cross, and on the third day rose in victory, conquering sin and death forever. If Christ has conquered death itself, what problem could ever be greater than His power?
Sometimes we become discouraged because our prayers are not answered when we expect. We look at our circumstances and wonder if God is still working. But God’s delays are not His denials. Even when we cannot see His hand, we can trust His Him. He is always working for our good and for His glory.
My beautiful sister, don’t allow fear, doubt, or your circumstances to define what God is able to do. Instead, take everything to God in prayer. Trust Him when the path is unclear. Trust Him when the waiting feels long. Trust Him when life doesn’t make sense. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep your eyes fixed on Him, knowing that He is faithful and His promises never fail
The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered the grave is the same God who is with you today. His power has not diminished. His love has not changed. His faithfulness has never failed.
So today, stop putting God in a box.
Lift your eyes above your circumstances and fix them on the One who is able. The God who spoke the universe into existence is more than able to carry you, provide for you, strengthen you, and accomplish what seems impossible.
Nothing is too hard for our God!
