When Life Feels Uncertain, Trust God

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, there will always be times in life when things feel uncertain.

There will be seasons when the future feels unclear, when your heart feels overwhelmed, when you are hoping and wondering if everything will work out. Whether you are sitting in a waiting room awaiting results, in a classroom waiting for final grades, or facing a situation that leaves you anxious about what comes next, uncertainty and fear can easily begin to fill your heart.

But here is the truth: we serve an all-knowing, all-powerful God. So why should you live in fear of the unknown when you belong to our God who already knows all things? He knows the beginning and the end. And nothing is beyond His control.

The uncertainty may feel unknown to you right now, but it has never been unknown to God. He is the One who holds the entire world in the palm of His hands, the One who goes before you, stands beside you, and faithfully watches over every step you take. Nothing is hidden from Him. Nothing catches Him by surprise. He reigns over all things, seen and unseen, and not even the smallest detail of your life escapes His loving care.

Satan wants your heart consumed with fear, worry, and endless overthinking, but God calls you to trust Him instead. Not because every situation feels easy, but because He is trustworthy. Do not let uncertainty steal your joy or weaken your faith. And always remember, you are not walking through this life alone.

As God tells us:

I will never leave you nor forsake you.
— Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV)—

Every step you take is guided by God’s loving hand, covered by His endless mercy, and strengthened through the prayers of the saints and the loving intercessions of our Blessed Mother, Saint Mary. Even in the moments when you feel weary, unseen, or uncertain, trust that God is working all things together for your good and will never abandon you.

So lift your head, my beautiful sister. Pray instead of panic. Trust instead of despair. Place your future into the hands of our Lord with humility and faith. Even when the road ahead feels uncertain or unfamiliar, remember that God already knows what is ahead.

And when life feels uncertain, choose to always trust the One who holds your future securely in His hands.
