We females tend to love and love being loved. We grow up watching Cinderella meeting her prince charming, Little Mermaid giving up her voice to be with the prince, Sleeping Beauty waking up to her prince, and Rapunzel being saved by her prince. We want that so bad, that we carry our hearts in the palm of our hands and are willing to give our heart to the first guy that says, “I love you.” Don’t be that girl!
If a guy is telling you, you are beautiful and he loves in hopes of sleeping with you, then you know he is not the one. Do not feel as if you have to sleep with him, in order for him to marry you. If he makes you feel that way, then he is NOT the guy for you.
When a godly man loves you, he will ALWAYS treat you with the upmost respect. He will honor you and your body. He is never forceful and will never rush you to do anything outside the commandment of God. He will pursue you and will want to make you his wife, because he cannot imagine his life without you. A godly man will make you feel as if you are the only girl in the world. You will never question his commitment, because his undivided attention is given to you. You will never question his love, because he will make it clear to you at all times.
Therefore, do not rush and stop trying to find your prince charming. Trust and believe God will send you your future husband in due time. As you wait patiently…….”seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
