A young woman decided to try ice fishing for the very first time. She bought all the gear, bundled herself up, and headed out to what she thought was the perfect frozen lake.
She set up her little stool, grabbed her tools, and started cutting a big circle in the ice—just like she’d seen in the videos.
Suddenly, a booming voice echoed all around her:
“THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.”
Startled, she looked around. Nobody. Shaking it off, she packed up her gear, moved further down, and tried again.
As soon as she cut into the ice, the same voice thundered:
“THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE!”
Now nervous but stubborn, she dragged her equipment all the way to the far end of the ice. She sat down, cut another hole, and—sure enough—the voice roared even louder:
“THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE!!!”
Terrified, she jumped up and cried out:
“Is that… is that You, God?”
The voice replied:
“No. This is the skating rink manager. And I’m telling you—there are NO fish under the ice. Go to a lake!” 😂
