My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, life doesn’t always make sense in the moment. There are moments when loss feels unbearable. At times, dreams slip away. Sometimes the road ahead seems too difficult to walk. In those moments, it’s easy to question, to wonder why things had to happen the way they did.
But what if every wrong turn
Was just leading you to the right place?
What if every closed door
Was protecting you from something not meant for you?
You might not see it now. However, when the pain has softened and the burden has lifted, you will look back. You will see that every trial had a purpose. Every hardship, every delay, and every unanswered prayer had a purpose. Every heartache, every tear you shed, and every prayer you believed went unanswered was actually bringing you closer to what God had in store for you
One day, when you look back, you will realize God was not withholding from you. He was simply protecting and preparing you. God’s hand was in it, molding you into who He created you to be. Stay faithful, and trust in His perfect plan.
Faith isn’t about understanding everything in the moment. It’s about trusting that God is at work, even when you can’t see it. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” There will be times you feel lost, discouraged, or even abandoned. But remember, God is always there. He is guiding you, shaping you, and preparing you for something greater
So hold on. No matter what you are going through, regardless of the battles you are facing. Keep trusting God, keep believing—even when you don’t understand. Because you’ll soon see that God was leading you all along.
May the intercession, protection, and blessing of our Blessed Mother be with us always.
