My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, always remember this: you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). From the moment you were created, God saw your uniqueness, your strength, and your beauty, and He declared it good. You are His masterpiece, crafted with intention, love, and a divine purpose. Never let anyone—or anything—make you feel less than what God has made you to be.
Walk with confidence, dignity, and esteem. Hold your head high, and carry yourself as the daughter of the King. Your words, actions, and thoughts should reflect respect, honor, and humility. Be kind and gentle, yet bold and courageous. Be understanding, compassionate, and never judgmental. The world may try to teach you to compare yourself or look down on others, but God calls you to a higher standard, a life of humility and love.
Never think you are above someone else, and never let pride take root in your heart. True greatness is measured by the love, grace, and humility we show to others. You were born to lead, not to follow. Your voice matters. Your choices matter. Your faith matters. You are destined for greatness because the One who made you is Greatness itself.
God has a purpose and mission for your life. He knows the plans He has for you—plans for good, for hope, for a future filled with His promises (Jeremiah 29:11). You are never ordinary. You are always special in His eyes. Do not allow anyone—or the standards of this world—to make you feel otherwise. The world did not create you; God did. He gave you strength, wisdom, and beauty that the world cannot give, and He will use your life to shine His light in ways only you can.
See yourself as God sees and loves you—with patience, grace, and unconditional acceptance. Guard your heart, honor your spirit, and embrace your God-given identity. Walk boldly in your faith, and let the world see a young woman who is confident, courageous, humble, and radiant in Christ.
Always remember this: you are precious, you are chosen, and you are destined for greatness. You are God’s masterpiece, and His light shines through you in all that you do.
For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.
17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them
—Psalm 139:14 – 17 (NKJV)—
