The Journey Begins!

I absolutely love the Death Crawl scene from Facing the Giants. It so powerfully reflects what is expected of us as Tewahedo Orthodox women. As we begin this journey, we must remind ourselves not to give up. We are called to give our all—to press forward with endurance, even when it feels difficult, even when we cannot see how far we’ve come or how much farther we must go.

We live in a society where it is easy to become discouraged, to grow weary, and to slowly drift away from our faith. The pressures around us can make giving up seem easier than standing firm. But as Tewahedo Orthodox young women, we are called to something greater. We are called to remain steadfast, to hold tightly to Christ, and to continue walking in faith with courage and conviction.

Just like in that powerful scene, sometimes we may feel weak, tired, or uncertain, but God sees beyond what we feel in the moment. He knows our strength, and He calls us to trust Him and keep moving forward, one step at a time.

It is my heartfelt prayer that this blog becomes a source of encouragement and strength for you—a place that reminds you to stand firm, to stay rooted in your faith, and to be proud of who you are in Christ.

Thank you for joining me on this beautiful and faith-filled journey.
