Faith in Our Faithful God

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, faith is waking up each morning and resting each night with the quiet assurance that our God is faithful, even when life feels uncertain. Faith is placing your whole heart in God’s hands, trusting Him completely, and moving forward even when you cannot yet see the path He is lovingly guiding you along.

And yes, there will be seasons when your faith is tested, when your heart aches, and when questions weigh heavily on your soul. There will be times when the road feels hidden, doors seem closed, timelines shift, and prayers appear unanswered. The world will whisper, “Give up,” but you do not. You hold fast to the truth that our God is faithful. He is your refuge in distress, your anchor in the storms of life, and your ever-present help in every trial.

Faith is quietly whispering, “God, I do not understand this season, but I trust You.” It is believing that the same God who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, and calmed storms is at work in your life today. Every trial, every unanswered question, every season of waiting is in His hands.

Faith is choosing obedience even when the outcome is unclear. It is choosing prayer when fear tries to speak louder than hope, and choosing patience when your heart grows weary. It is walking humbly in prayer, fasting, and love, even when the world demands proof and instant results. It is resting in the certainty that God’s will is always higher, always wiser, and always filled with love.

So walk forward, my sister, even if you can only see one step at a time. Our God, the Creator of heaven and earth, is faithfully guiding each step you take. He sees what you cannot yet see, understands what you do not yet understand, and He never makes a mistake. No matter the season and no matter the trial, place your trust in Him and hold firmly to your faith in our faithful God.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
— Hebrews 11:1
