Tewahedo Orthodox Girl | Let Go and Let God

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, there are moments when the weight you are carrying feels unbearable. In those moments, remember, you were never meant to carry everything on your own. We often push ourselves to be strong, capable, and unshaken, yet even the strongest hearts grow weary.

Not every burden belongs to you. Some weights are meant for God alone. Depending on Him is not weakness it is trust. It is believing that His strength is greater than anything that overwhelms you.

Whatever keeps you awake at night, whatever responsibilities feel too heavy, whatever pain you have been quietly holding, whatever future you cannot control, bring it to God in prayer and place it in His hands.

Let go, not because you are giving up, but because you are choosing faith. Let God, because His hands are steadier than yours, His wisdom is greater than your understanding, and His love never fails.

Trust that when you surrender, God truly takes care of whatever you place in His hands. You don’t have to pretend everything is fine and it’s ok to say, “God, I can’t do this alone.” He knows your heart and is patiently waiting for you to let Him carry the weight for you.

So, let go of the burdens you were never meant to carry. Let go of the fear that whispers you must handle everything on your own.

Let God carry the burdens weighing on your heart. Let Him strengthen you when you feel weak, guide you when you are uncertain, and comfort you in your pain. He sees you. He knows your every need. And He is already at work on your behalf.

My beautiful sister, walk lighter today and rest easier tonight, knowing that God is the Alpha and the Omega—“the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 22:13). When life feels heavy, when the mountains before you seem too steep to climb, when your heart aches and your eyes are full of tears, remember—you don’t have to carry it all alone. “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you” (Psalm 55:22).

Let go and let God. Trust Him to steady your steps, to soothe your heart, and to carry you through each challenge. He is faithful, He sees your struggles, and He will never leave you to face them alone.

“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth”

—Psalm 145:18—
