Tewahedo Orthodox Girl | The Narrow Path

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, you are a rare jewel, precious, cherished, and deeply loved by our Heavenly Father. God has set you apart to walk a holy and sacred road: The Narrow Path.

This path is not always easy. Some days it may feel steep, lonely, or even painful, especially when others choose the wide and comfortable road. But remember, my sister, God has not called you to what is easy. He has called you to what is eternal.

On this sacred path, God is shaping your heart, refining your spirit, and strengthening your faith. Every challenge is molding you, every trial is teaching you, and every step, whether bold or trembling, is guided by His love.

And when the road feels heavy, lift your eyes to our Holy Mother, St. Mary. She also walked the Narrow Path with humility, courage, and unwavering obedience. Through her “Yes” to God, she became the dwelling place of our Almighty God and our perfect example of holiness. Now crowned in glory, she intercedes for you, strengthens you, and reminds you that the Narrow Path leads to life.

Yes, many will chase the fleeting pleasures of this world, but you, my sister, are the remnant, chosen to shine God’s light in the darkness and to be the salt that brings flavor to a tasteless world. You are not called to blend in. You are called to stand apart, to live with purpose, and to reflect the holiness of God.

And if you ever wander off the path, do not be discouraged. Do not hide. Do not give up. Simply turn back quickly, humbly, and boldly. Repent with a sincere heart, and speak to your spiritual father, who will guide you with wisdom, clarity, and compassion. Our Heavenly Father is waiting with open arms, ready to lift you up and lead you again with grace, mercy, and peace.

So when the world turns away, you keep walking.

When others grow weary, you keep believing.

When the road narrows, you keep trusting.

My sister, never give up, no matter how difficult the path becomes. Keep going. Your journey is holy, your calling is beautiful, and your reward in Christ is eternal. By His grace, and through the intercessions of our Blessed Mother St. Mary, may you remain faithful until the very end. And when we stand before our Lord, may we stand victorious, steadfast, radiant, and crowned with everlasting joy.

For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, and I have walked in Your truth.
