My Beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox Sister, the world around you may feel like it’s rushing forward—everyone blooming, achieving, and shining. And you? You’re still waiting. Still growing. Still becoming. And maybe, you haven’t reached your goals just yet.
It might seem like others are moving ahead, accomplishing things you’ve only dreamed of. But remember this: your journey is not theirs. So do not be discouraged if you haven’t arrived where others are. You are not behind in life. You are exactly where God wants you to be, learning what He needs you to learn, growing in ways you may not yet see.
You are walking the path God has prepared just for you. You may not see it clearly now, but your time is coming. God’s timing is never late, never wrong, and never by accident.
Keep going!
In His perfect time, your bloom will come. And always remember: not all flowers bloom at the same time. Some blossom early, others take a little longer. But each one reveals its beauty in the season God has perfectly designed.
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
So don’t compare your pace with anyone else’s.
You are not late.
You are not slow.
You are not less.
You are growing in your season.
Step by step.
Day by day.
Grace by grace.
It’s okay to pause.
It’s okay to rest.
It’s okay to breathe.
You are allowed to shine—in your own season.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep going.
And don’t measure your journey with someone else’s ruler.
God is still shaping you.
Still preparing you.
Still leading you.
Your delay is not a denial. Your slower pace is not failure—it’s preparation for the beautiful future God has already planned for you.
So lift your head and take heart. Your season is coming, handcrafted by the very hands that formed you. You don’t need to chase anyone else’s timeline. God’s timing for you is perfect.
Your bloom will come not rushed, not forced, but in God’s perfect time. And when it does, it will glorify Him. Because the flower that blooms in His timing is not only beautiful—it’s eternal.
Trust in the Lord’s perfect plan for you. Your time will come, and when it does, it will be worth every moment you waited.
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. —Philippians 1:6—
