Don’t Let Satan Win!

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister,
A real battle will rage all around you at times.
The closer you draw to Christ, the greater the battle will become.
Satan wants you to feel defeated.
He wants you to be exhausted.
He wants you to feel worthless.

He wants to make everything hard for you.
He is doing everything in his power to get you to give up.
He wants you to stop praying.
He wants you to stop fasting.
He wants you to be too tired to open your Bible.

He doesn’t want you to pray.
He doesn’t want you to hear the word of God.
He doesn’t want you to go to church.
He wants to come in and destroy everything God has built.
He wants to bring chaos to your life.
He wants to take your joy.
He wants you to feel like you are nothing.

He wants you worn out,
dried up,
curled up in a ball,
in tears,
weary to the bone.
He wants to defeat you.
He wants you to give up on God.
He doesn’t want you to praise God in the midst of your struggles.
He doesn’t want you to have a heart of repentance.
He doesn’t want you to hear the Word of God.

Satan wants to make your life difficult.
He wants to destroy everything good in your life.
He will chase you down.
He will go after you and those you love.
But he will never win!

My beautiful sister,
Satan is cunning but he is also predictable.
Don’t let him win.
No matter how hard he tries.
Keep pressing on.
Keep reading your Bible.
Keep holding on to God’s promises.
Keep serving God.
Keep worshiping.
Keep going one step at a time.
Keep holding on to your hope and faith in God.
Because with God, you will always have victory.

Keep praying and never stop.
When you fall, brush yourself off and get up again.
No matter how many times you fail.
No matter how great the battle.
Praise God through the battle knowing you will make it.
And God will stand with you and beside you.

Keep praying and never stop praying. Pray until your last breath, because that is how we win.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
[1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV]

May the intercession, protection, and blessing of our Blessed Mother be with us always.
And may God have Mercy on us and Save us 🙏
