He Said, “You were worth it!”

He looked at the cross, then looked at you. “You’re worth it”, He says.

The pain, the bleeding, the mockery, the death. Not once did He look back.

This is the most powerful message.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was God in human form. He could’ve gotten himself out of being crucified. He could’ve chosen to perform a miracle. He could’ve chosen to stop the crucifixion from happening.

But, He didn’t. You were worth the pain He was going to endure. You were worth the mockery, the bleeding, and the death. You were worth it.

You were worth it even though He knew you might not love Him back. You were worth it even though He knew you may reject Him. You were worth it even though He knew you may not follow Him.

You are worth it, because He loves you that much.

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister, nobody in this world has done what Christ did for you—He gave His life on the Cross, because He believed you were worth it. Trust in His plan for you and remain strong in your faith. His love and guidance will always be with you, and following His path will bring you fulfillment and eternal joy. May you always find peace and strength in our Lord’s unwavering love. Always stay true to our beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox beliefs, as they are the foundation for our life.

Choose to follow God steadfastly, even when the world tries to turn you against Him. Choose to follow Him even through the ups and downs of this life. Choose to follow Him when you’re hopeless, afraid, and sad. No matter what, never stop following Him because He is worth it!
