As Tewahedo Orthodox girls, we are called to not be afraid! To always find strength in our beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox faith, and confidence in God’s promises. When fear begins to creep into your mind, always remind your heart…

God is bigger than your fears.
He is bigger than your problems.
He is bigger than your doubts.
He is bigger than your pain.

He is the God that holds the whole universe together.
From Him everything has been made.
He uses earth as a footstool.
He is seated on the throne and clothed in majesty.
He is all powerful and unchanging.
He always was and always will be.

He rules and He reigns over all.
He is the Alpha and the Omega.
He speaks and things come to be.
With one word He can silence a storm.
With one touch He can heal.
With one look He can change an entire life.
There is nothing too hard for God.

He transforms lives, families and blood lines.
He breaks addictions.
He frees us from the chains we are in.
He breaks us out from the grave.
There is no one like our God!

Nothing and no one can stop His power.
Nothing can prevent His will.
He can bring what is dead back to life.
He is the only Living God.
He is the only True God.

My beautiful Tewahedo Orthodox sister,
what do we have to fear?
What can mere mortals do to us?
When we have our Mighty God protecting us!
Do not be afraid, for God is with you.
As God tells us…”Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).”
